Multi Trip Travel Insurance

It is possible to set up a stand alone policy, for either single trip or multi trip, however Multi trip cover is usually added to the HOUSE Insurance as an optional section, either including or excluding winter sports.

Whether skiing, surfing, trekking or simply lying in the sun, you and your family can be covered all year round, without the need to declare each journey or fill in forms every time you go on holiday.

Cover includes delayed luggage and loss of passport, medical expenses, cancellation, personal accident, personal liability, departure delay and legal advice and expenses as follows:

Per person

Medical Expenses

£2,000,000

Personal Liability

£1,000,000

Legal Expenses

£25,000

Cancellation

£3,000

Personal accident

£15,000

Cover can be automatically provided for the Insured person and all permanent members of the Household for world-wide travel, subject to each journey not exceeding 31 days. If winter sports is required, cover can be arranged subject to the maximum number of winter sports days not exceeding 17 days during the period of insurance.

You and all permanent members of your household are covered. If you have an accident or fall ill while on your trip, help from the emergency helpline is just a phone call away, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

You will not be covered for the following which are some of the main exclusions:

  • The first £50 of each claim for medical expenses, cancellation cover and personal liability

Please note that loss or damage to personal luggage and money should be covered under personal possessions section of house insurance.

This Part excludes cover for any person over the age of 66 and pre-existing medical conditions unless agreed in writing by insurers prior to your journey.

Travel advice provided on all territories of the world can be found at www.fco.gov.uk/knowbeforeyougo

We hope this provides you with some valuable information before your trip.
